The newsletter tracks the forces reshaping global trade — manufacturing relocation, port activity, freight rates, tariffs, and geopolitical risk — with the goal of surfacing signal before disruptions become headlines.
It combines research, data, and direct insight from people working the lane to understand the logistics and supply-chain dynamics connecting the countries involved, looking past headline numbers to what's actually happening in manufacturing, sourcing, trucking, warehousing, ports, and freight movement.
How it's written
Four rules, and they don't bend.
Every figure is attributed.
Named publication, named date. If you want to check it, you can.
Conflicts are named, not resolved.
When two credible sources report different numbers, both appear. Picking one and presenting it as settled is how bad figures spread.
Thin reporting is labeled as thin.
If there is only one source on something, the issue says so.
Nothing here is a forecast or a commercial recommendation.
